camping in the isle of wight - 2weeks in august

...although i'd like to go somewhere hot and luxurious.....but beggers can't be choosers

2 weeks July selfcatering in Provence with our family and dsis and her dh.
1 week in August in London at dsis house.

Megeve, French Alps.... swimming, (its gets really hot) ,mountain walking, lugeing, white water rafting. . . .

Just back from Vendee - worse holiday I've ever had

eeewwh !

Think you had better weather in UK than we did in Vendee. And, I didn't expect the coast to be so resort like without much to do ... stayed in mobile home on campsite (as was 7 months pregnant, so couldn't tent it) and it was really not my thing.

I've had mine for this year - boo hoo (two weeks on Isle of Mull - was lovely). But possibly going to Malaysia in winter/spring 2012 but that feels a LONG way off. Weekend in Yorkshire Dales in two weeks though

2 weeks at La Carabasse in Languedoc with Siblu -it's fab!
Then 1 week in gite near Cognac.

Going in September to somewhere South France in the Languedoc region near Narbonne, our own wee cottage with a private pool, it will be bliss - once we get there, just have the 2 day drive from Glasgow first to brave

We have done it twice before, last year to the Dordogne and the year before to the French Alps.

could you all find me one...........frazzled older mum, three 13yr olds and dh just got an all clear from cancer after 4 years! Would love to go to the States but too expensive for flights, love an adventure can`t bear to sit by a pool........................need a break!

triplets, that is fantastic news! I have tried to help with short breaks in the past, but as my default is self-catering in the South of France I probably can't do what you are looking for .....
