Calais - things to do nearby

We're going on a booze run to Calais and want to stay over for two days. Anyone have any ideas of things nearby (say 2 hour radius) suitable for a 3 year old? Also anyone any recommendations for dry white wine to be had from the hypermarket?
Thanks.

No idea of things to do nearby for your young one as we haven't stayed over but look for any Sauvignon Blancs made in New Zealand for dry whites. Obviously wine tasting is to everyone's own preference but I think they make the best dry white wine of all. Any New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc no matter how cheap will be good.

Some nice beaches quite near-Berck,Wimereux etc
Nausicca -sealife type thing-at boulougne
Le Touquet-beach, indoor pool
Le Crotoy-nice beach and steam train along the coast
Aquaclub at Belledune- indoor pool complex
Hope that helps

If you are going to Cite de L'Europe and Carrefour, their own label Muscadet de Sevre et Maine sur lie is a very good value, good quality buy from this appellation. Ditto their own-label Alsace wines (Riesling, Gewurztraminer) if you don't mind something off-dry. For everyday plonk drinking Carrefour usually stock Fortant de France Sauvignon Blanc which is a very nice dry table wine from the Midi and chills up well.
Out and about we last went in November so all the lovely fine weather recommendations given by others didn't really apply. We enjoyed Nausicaa (the restaurant opposite, La Matelote, is one of the best in Boulogne for fish) and nearer St Omer, ds found the V2 Rocket Base La Coupole enthralling.
Definitely want to investigate Miggy's recommendation of the Le Crotoy steam train further south. It's supposed to be gorgeous round there and we've never got there yet!

Thanks for all the suggestions. We stayed in Boulogne and had a lovely time. La Nausicca was fantastic, wished my 3yr old would have let us spend more time reading the stuff but well worth the visit. Ended up spending the afternoon on the beach which ds loved and I hated (can't stand sand gets everywhere). Anyway got some great wine and cheap Clarins what more can a girl ask for? Will definitely be returning for a short trip later in the year.

Somewhere else good for lunch is La Brocante in Wimille, head off the dual carriageway from Calais to Boulogne towards Wimereux and its easy to find.
