Breastfeeding in France

Am going to France (Fontainebleau, just outside paris) with my 3 month old baby. Anybody know whether breastfeeding in public is ok over there? She refuses a bottle so I have no choice but would be nice to know whether I may get some funny attitudes if I do it in public! Thanks.

I took DS to Burgundy for a week when he was 3 months old and I fed him everywhere. In restaurants, in an estate agents office, all sorts of places.
I got no funny attitude at all, everyone was very nice.

Just seen this - I live in France and am still BF'ing my 7 month old wherever neccessary. I think attitudes have changed quite a lot recently as I never get so much as a second glance. At DS1's swimming class there are a whole group of us regularly feeding babies...

We stayed in Mersault - gorgeous! It is just south of Beaune right in among all the vineyards.
Dijon is supposed to be v.beautiful, the local architecture is very distinctive.

I was with my Dad looking at houses over there, he and Mum are thinking of buying a place to use for holidays etc - so I didn't really explore from a point of view of what there is to do where IYKWIM?
