Hi there!
I'll be flying to Spain with a 4 month old baby and need to buy a pushchair. Does anyone have any recommendations? Which is the best one? It needs to go flat as she will still be sleeping a lot during the day.
Thanks!

What are you using atm?

I've got a mamas and Papas Pliko Switch, which is used in pram mode and a Phil and teds for off roading!

Can't you take one of those?

We've taken our Loola and High Trek on holiday several times with no problems. We just get a bag big enough for them to fit in and pack it up before handing it over at the steps of the plane.

Having 3 pushchairs for a 4 month old seems a bit excessive!

Isn't there a weight restriction for buggies on planes? I thought they couldn't be more than 10kg. Both of mine are over this

The 2 pushchairs aren'e from new and thinking of lightweight one on ebay...

Not as far as I'm aware.

All the carries that we've been with say that they carry 1 infant pushchair free of charge.

They tag them at check in (we get the tag put on the bag) and x-ray them at security (if they'll fit, if not they have a good look and feel of them). Not once do they go anywhere near any scales!

Never heard of any sort of weight restriction on buggies. you normally take them to the gate or sometimes to the steps of the plane and leave them there, they have no facilities for weighing them there. I have seen some huge (folded) buggies lying at the gate or on the tarmac on long haul flights. Most people have lightweight buggies to travel with for their own convenience thats all.
