Can anyone suggest places to meet friends for lunch/coffee that I can get in with a pram and comfortably breast feed?

Also what are your top suggestions for things to do?

Thank you

Spurriergate Centre would be my first choice. It is very popular though-particularly with mums and babies-so get there early if you're planning lunch.

Most of the wine bars are fine for both taking in pram and feeding. Eg Slug & Lettuce (the one in Swinegate hosted a Real Nappy nappuccino), Orgasmic in Coney Street-mums tend to meet up here after the "Big Scream" (for parents/carers with babies under 1) cinema screening on Wednesdays.

Did you have anything in particular in mind that you wanted to do?

Thanks for getting back to me!
New to area so I have no idea really what to do - really pleased there is a Big Scream - I heard the one in Richmond had been cancelled

was planning a wander around then settling down for a catch up with my sis in somewhere nice. I might head to the shambles and possibly the minster as not been to york since I was 10!

Oh my, I LOVE York. As far as things to do depends on weather but a picnic (or grab a sandwich) in muesum gardens is a def must. I know this is sneaky but as it's only round the corner, the libabry for 5 mins quiet and loo and breastfeeding if needs be. sorry but been a few years (pre baby) when I lived there.

Hi Brownowl and mpm -- had fab time, weather was showers so found cafe, then sightseeing then really nice little restaurant in old town.
went to railway museum to wait for my train - free, and good changing facilities inc a loo for mum plus buggy - but must be hell when busy!
thanks for your suggestions!
