i ama disneyland paris virgin and thinming of going in the summer. i have had a look at their website and it says book beofre 15th april to get 40 % off. i tried to get a price for 4 adults and 1 child and it came to over £2000, is this about right (staying in the disney hotel)

is the best place to book at the travel agents? is it best to go by eurostar or fly?

dunno about prices but wouldn't surprise me. We used Eurostar - ds loved it. But there's only one train a day that calls at Disneyland Paris, so you may have to change.

You could book hotel with Disney and travel via Eurostar or airline - compare prices with a travel agent to make sure you are getting the best deal.

My friend always seems to managed cheap deals through the Disney website. Any time I have looked it has been £££££££.

We went in Feb 08 and booked hotel through expedia, Eurostar by phone (wanted period that wasn't available yet on website and managed to get 4 seats with a table as I was one of the first bookers) and park tickets from a ticket website. It still cost about £1000 for 4 nights.

Tis also very expensive food wise when you get there although most hotels include schooldinnersbuffet breakfast. But booking through the Disney site may included deals for half board.

We went at christmas, for what its worth I would say that it is best to stay in one of the disney hotels as you get into the parks 2 hours before everybody else and it would be even better to stay in the actual disney land hotel as you are right at the start of the park and could probably nip back during the day, ideal if you have a little one who would need a bit of a rest, it was too expensive for us when we went for new year. Eurostar worked really well for us, if you atay in a disney hotel they will collect your baggage for the train station so you can go straight to the park and will drop your luggage off at the train station also.

We have just had ours priced for a break in sept, for four nights/five days with hotel, tickets, insurance, ferry as we self drive and the half board meal plan for two adults and one child with 40% off and the whole lot was £800.

The las time we went was Nov 07 and we paid £550 for the same but without the half board meal plans.

That was to stay in the sequoia lodge hotel, the sante fe and cheyenne are bit cheaper.

ok thnaks for all that, i discussed it with dh and i think i am just going to go into the travel agents and talk it through with them. there is so much to choose and book that i am not confident i could do it all myself on the internet.

we have decided to definatley stay in the disney hotel. we dont want to go and wish we had stayed there.

abd i think we are going to go by eurostar, dd might like that better than a plane

if you definately want to stay in Disney hotel, try looking around on the internet too - could probably get it cheaper than at a travel agents. Got on here and go tot eh DLP pages - you'll find LOADS of info.

We love it, came back for the third time in Feb half term.

We live in the south west so for us it's better to fly (did eurostar the first time but so much easier and quicker to fly)

Santa Fe is fine, clean, you are only sleepin there and lovely 15 min walk to get to the park. Disney hotel is a LOT more expensive.

We had the offer of kids under 11 stay, travel and play free so just had to pay for adults - it was 1500 for 4 adults and 4 children went free sunday to weds.

We just got a 2 night 3 day deal staying in the Santa Fe with halfboard for £394 for 2 adults 2 kids under 7 during Easter hols. Can't wait. We are flying from Scotland. We booked online as there are free deals for kids under 7 just now. Good luck
