Anyone thinking of going to Ray's Farm in Bridgnorth?

DON'T!! We went the other day and what a waste of money. Before you get to the door to pay theres a couple of pigs and some shetland ponies. We get to the ticket office thing and he shows us the map and says here's all the farm animals and there's a woodland walk over here but you won't be able to go on that with the pushchair. So I say well my Dad is disabled anyway so we won't be doing that.

So we go through to see the farm animals. I'm not kidding you there's one field with goats in, a few cages with some owls in, a pond with some ducks and geese, 1 squirrel in a cage, 1 peacock, 2 reindeer, 2 deer and some chickens and rabbits running around. It took about 30 mins to look around if that.

I know they aren't going to do themselves out of money but i wish they'd said oh if you're not going on the walk there's not really much to do.

Hi
nappyaddict yes totally agree its rubbish and way too expensive for whats there considering I have been to other farms that have been the same price or cheaper and they have had loads.
Its also lacking in a good play area.

It's lacking in loads for £7 per adult and £5 per child 2+. I went to a farm last year in kent which was £8 for adults and £7 for children 3+. I thought that was quite cheap considering the amount of stuff they had. They had tractor rides (you did have to pay an extra £1 though), 2 really good play areas, loads of nature trails (which we couldn't go on but didn't care), mini soft play with ball pit, slides etc, creep crawly bit, aviary, butterfly dome, little garden, pig racing, children's barn where they get the animals out and you can hold them and feed them.

Have you been to Hoo Farm? That's £6.50 per adult and £6.25 for children 2+ but children get a free return visit. I looked on the website and it looks there's loads to do.
