Scooby Doo Show

My husband and I took our children to the opening night of Scooby Doo Tour last night. A fun, well put together show that kept my kids entertained throughout.

The acting, costumes and scenery were commendable. We all had an enjoyable evening, especially my 7 year old Ben and I would recommend it.

Can anyone suggest ways my kids can get into local theatre groups?

where do you live? theres lots of sw london for example.

do you think a 5 year old would like it? Am wondering if scooby doo will be good value for my ds.

We live in South Norfolk; thank you for the suggestion but I think London may be a little far!

I'm just unsure of the whole process in general- is there usually a long waiting list to get into these kind of groups?

I'm confident that you'll find the show good value. In regards to age, I have a 7 and 4 year old; they both had a really good time.

About 15 mins from Wymondham, a really beautiful area.

I'll take a look at the link now.

Have you been to see Scooby yet?

So glad the show was good - we are taking DS in April!

Wymondham may be a bit far to come to us, but im sure the theatre royal in norwich do a stage class thing, its in their booklets i think, or have a look on their website.
we've seen postman pat and noddy there before now, both were good. now we have ds2 and will have to wait a year i think before we start taking him to things like that. he wouldnt sit still long enough to watch it. he is only 2 though (3 in june)

Postman Pat theatre tour -warning
Abolute rubbish. This is no theatre experience at all. People in costumes moving about to awful songs, pre-recorded dialogue, dull story. I wanted to introduce my children to the experience of going to a live performance, but this was in fact dead!
My chidren were almost asleep. What a disappointment...and expensive.
