I went to a lovely italian when last in Bath but can't remember the name of it. It was on the edge of the town about a 2min walk from the city centre travelodge. (If you stood outside travelodge with back to the building and looked right you can see it!)

Was very friendly and would definately welcome children. here's hoping someone from Bath pops in and can tell us the name!

Jamie Oliver has opened an Italian in Bath...

...I have been once. It was splendid and not overly expensive. I didn't take the urchins but felt that I could have..

If you go to Jamies get there about 10 mins before opening to avoid waitng for a table. very child friendly & delish food
twinklytoes was it Bottelinos?
There's also Wagamama (top of Milsom st turn right) if you go off the Italian idea, tho I have found the staff a bit surly of late. But quick cheap & easy.
Have fun

I've heard that Cafe Martini on George Street is good (I've never eaten there myself though)

Where did you go, was it all you could have hoped for?

CHEQUERSmate · 18/02/2009 10:14

Thanks.

Sorry, restaurant doesn't need to have a carpark, but needs to be near one so somewhere near a multi storey would be good.

CHEQUERSmate · 18/02/2009 12:07

Oops, wrong thread.

MayorNaze · 18/02/2009 12:15

there is an ask round the corner from the travelodge - is that where someone meant? martinis is lovely but not sure about child-friendly (deja vu )

twinklytoes · 18/02/2009 21:31

no it wasn't the ask. think eloise had it correct as bottelinos.
