Travel insurance - help!

Do you have the full travel insurance when you go abroad or not?

dh thinks it unnecessary to have the option of being flown home etc if in another european country whereas I would prefer to have this just in case.

What do people do?

We buy annual travel insurance from Trailfinders - covers me, DP and DD (infants are free). Means we dont have to worry when we are away.

It includes diving and skiing, not that we do much of either these days!

We also have E111 for Europe as well.

I always have full travel insurance. It generally doesn't cost much more, and though I've never had cause to use it I'd rather be safe than sorry.

Always buy travel insurance...if the worst happens I wouldn't want to be worrying about payments at hospital, I'd just want to be treated. Being flown home is way down the list of my requirements. We use Direct Travel.

Also have E111 well EHIC now for Europe.

Thank you BakewellTarts

You can get the EHIC online - www.ehic.org.uk/Internet/home.do
