Can't help, but I'm going to Meribel next week (Skiing) if there is any snow left!

Try the website www.merinet.com there is lots of info there, the nanny places should know so might be worth a shot contacting them.

Where are you staying, a chalet or hotel, if a chalet you could probably use the kitchen to prepare DS's food. They might even offer to save you something form the adults dinners, veggies etc for the next day.

Can't speak specifically for Meribel but all the resorts, including smaller ones than Meribel, we have visited (Ch and Austria) have all had supermarkets and/or pharmacies selling nappies and baby food. However you may prefer to take your own supplies (space permitting!!) as we have, more than once, had to buy a pack of 70 nappies for a stay of a week, as choice can be limited ! Also if you are using baby rice it is less readily available on the continent but Nestle and Hipp jars are popular. You may also struggle to find vegetable only flavours.

You could always contact the Tourist Office, or the website which probably has a map of the town, to double check where the supermarkets are.

Have a good week! Hope the snow holds for you.

Can't comment on the babyfood (ds was still being bf at 4 months and a year later was eating "ordinary" food), but you could get nappies in all of the supermarkets. They definitely had Pampers, but I'm not sure if there were any other brands.

Are you going to be taking it in turns to look after your ds, or have you arranged a nanny?
