Im flying to the Caribbean with my what will then be three month old in March, going with Air France not sure how to manage feeds in flight as the cartons are 200ml - any tips. Also unsure what to take from my bugaboo system or should I look at a Mclaren or is he too young?

Buy the cartons airside.
Take the McLaren!

are you using a sling of some sort? the easiest way to travel with a baby. I flew from UK to UAE with an 11 wk old with one changeover. no push chair is sight. (acksherly, we forgot the pushchair completely) DD is now 17 wks old and has never been in a pushchair.

i bf so no advice there about milk.

Unless the cabin crew will refridgerate the cartons, you will have to dump the surplus.

Thanks guys, can you guy Aptimil airside do you know? Flying from Heathrow via Paris..... this might be the problem but not sure... Do have a sling but need something for evenings when we go out to dinner - sounds like McLaren is the way forward, any recommendations as to which one as there seem to be a few... :-)

Yes, you can buy Aptamil in the Boots airside. In fact the WHSmith does too

Last time we flew, I phoned up Boots in advance and they put 6 cartons aside for me to pick up.

I took bottles of water and powder in a dispenser. you are allowed to take more than 100ml of water for babies feed. As for the bugaboo we took the chassis and the pushchair bit and that was fine. just broke it up into 2 pieces for them to put on board the plane (you can ask for a plastic bag to put both parts in if you want to..they only hand them out if you ask). DS slept so well in the bugaboo we were out having dinner every night while he slept in the pram at the table.

btw DS was 5 months at the time so you will still need the pram bit of the bugaboo

We took powder and bought bottled water and were fine.

How about a large tub of powdwered Aptamil bought airside so sealed etc from a security check point of view and ask the cabin crew to boil you some water, put it in, say, a thermos you take with you and make up fresh feeds as you go. Ask the stewardess that coos the most at your LO.
