Train to Paddington, tube to Kings Cross/St Pancras, or do it the easy way and get a cab between the two stations.

We did that, didn't even fold the pushchair.

Train to Paddington then Circle line to Kings Cross I think

PrimulaVeris · 27/01/2009 15:53

Train to Paddington - if public transport, take Circle Line from Paddington to Kings X St Pancras. Or take cab (obv more expensive - don't know how much)

We all posted at once I think - at various typing speeds

NoBiggy · 27/01/2009 15:55

I'm watching this now for someone to come up with a novel way of doing it

PrimulaVeris · 27/01/2009 15:58

I sometimes fantasise about crossing London in a sherman tank - squash all opposition etc.

NoBiggy · 27/01/2009 16:00

And I suppose if you don't find a parking space you just park on top of someone else.

I see your logic.

Don't do Circle line from Paddington it is very unreliable, go to the bridge that goes over the platforms (about half way down the mainline platforms) and go to the Hammersmith and City line station (still called Paddington) and take that to Kings Cross.

Taxi will cost you £5 - £10 (depending on traffic) but don't go to the taxi rank always a long queue and you will spend a fiver to get through the first set of traffic lights, walk up the slope opposite platforms 9 & 10 out of the station and flag one down on the street, will be cheaper and quicker.

I used to walk from Paddington to StPancras every day, to the British Library there.

It's about just over 2 miles, and quite direct.

But I suppose if yr going to StP International, you will have plenty of luggage? in which case I would think taxi.

book an addison lee cab, cheaper than a black cab and the drivers are helpfull.
