Dinosaur Live - does it really matter where you sit?

I'm planning to take dinosaur-mad DS to Dinosaur Live at the O2 Arena this summer, and am a bit at the likely cost of the day out, when factoring in rail travel, etc.

Has anyone else been - to the Dinosaur Live show/the Arena? Will it make a really big difference whether or not we opt for £20 up-at-the-back or £45 up-close-and-personal seats?

Grateful to hear from anyone who's seen this show. TIA.

ooh - yes please, we wanted to go to this too - but also a bit at the price!

Oooh it sounds really good. Events at the O2 make me wish I hadn't moved out of the area.

I saw Prince there a while back and sat right at the back, had a great view of the show and could probably see much better than many of the closer seats. The back seats are very steep though, so no good if you suffer from vertigo.

I also saw Disney on Ice there and had front row seats (thanks to a lovely mnetter) which was great to be so involved, but my little ones ended up on laps to get a better view, also if there's any chance your dc might get frightened they'd be better off further back.

Sounds great, trying to work out if I can take ds1, he's dino mad.

Thanks Aimsmum and piximon. Useful info. Ta. DS has said he'd like to be close-up, but I think my purse will dictate we'll be up at the back on "really exciting" steep seats with a "wonderful, amazing, can-see-everything" view of all the action that the low-down people aren't lucky enough to have. He WILL be happy with that.
