CHINESE NEW YEAR in London - what are you doing?

Last year, the British Museum had a good array of family activities, including a traditional puppet show as they were hosting exhibition on Terracotta Army. Nowt this year.

Was thinking of taking 19 month old DD to Trafalgar Square but wondering whether it would be too much of a squish because of large crowds. And would DD be able to see anything?
There's a dragon making craft session at my local library but wondering if there's anything else more exciting.

We're in north London, but willing to travel anywhere in London area.

not sure what it will be like this year - alot of the celebrations last year were sponsored by the chinese govt because of the olympics.

Was great though.

this year we are booked in for Dim Sum and just having a lovely family lunch.

we are going to park - go to see the queen (according to DS1 ) then we will walk via trafalgar square to china town so if there is stuff going on we will hang around for a bit.. before going to meet PiL at the restaurant.
