If you can get to Pollensa rather than puerto pollensa there are some great places in the square there, pretty touristy but nice nevertheless. The seafront at Puerto pollensa is choc a bloc with all kinds of restaurants ,all very child friendly,we ate there a couple of times becasue your so close to the beach ,the children loved watching those people making complicated beach sculptures .

Can't remember names of restaurants as several years ago now but just wanted to say that I am very jealous . Really liked it there and would happily go back, (which is not something I would say of most holiday resorts I've been to).

There is also a square in Puerto Pollensa with restaurants all around. The children played together in the middle - it was lovely. I'll try and find the address of the restaurant we ate at there.

thanks, I'm just going with my boyfriend as kids with their dad. Sounds like it's a nice place though.

Ooo - for a nice romantic meal there are restaurants which have their tables right on the sea front - lovely!

Came back a fortnight ago from a week there. 30 degrees!!!

We recommend Maxims and El Mojito on the square, and one restaurant on Calle Juan de la Cosa called O'Lume. They do fab food, quite traditional cuisine. Family friendly. Don't be put off that it looks empty early on, it's just that it's popular with locals who eat later.

We didn't try any in Pollensa itself, but might be worth getting the bus there and a taxi back for evening dinner?
It's worth looking at the website www.puertopollensa.com
for a wealth of info and restaurant reviews, transport, etc.

OOhh- lucky you- am very jealous!
Puerto Pollensa is really nice, but as floaty says, can get busy, but as you're out of season you'll probably be fine.

The pine walk is attractive if you go right up to the end there are little reatuarants right on the beach, we used to go and have a beer and the children played in the sand right there...
Pollensa proper is gorgeous, Lilred- we ate there in the square- lovely tapas.
You're so spoilt for choice with restaurants, In can't really remember any....

Yes, our favourite place.

We rented an apartment near to the Pine Walk expecting the usual basic furnishings and equipment that one finds in self-catering holiday accomodation.

In the event we were delighted to find more appliances and entertainment resources than we have at home. Floodlit tabletennis on the private roof terrace, al fresco barbecues, an open-air hot shower, Sky tv, wifi...........the list is endless.
The location, the magnificent pool, and the wonderful setting in landcaped grounds combined to give us the best family holiday ever. Wholeheartedly recommended.

See for yourself on www.mallorcadirect.net

Our favourite restaurant is C'an Guarassa, facing the bay between the Port and Alcudia.

We've been there in april- it's lovely. Pollensa itself is a beautiful town, and the port is nice- walking along the pine walk to the end where the beach gets less crowded and there are little cafes is lovely.

there have been some threads her
and here
