RTKangaMummy you must have the 10 year anniversary cast on cd then.. I have that among others.. but I think it's the best. This is the once where the actress playing 'The Master In The House's wife (can't remember the French surname off the top of my head) sings the rude words quietly.. and they have much more of an impact and the crowd are roaring with laughter!

That's the one! Doesn't really roll off the tongue does it!(Unless you are French I guess!) That lady (as mentioned below) is great! I love thast case.. but I may be biased as it's the only one I have 'seen' because have only seen the vid!

And further blushing... .. I have to admit, DH downloaded it for me off the net.. I wouldn't have it otherwise! I only know it's the same cast as on the video because I have several versions downloaded and the '10th anniversary' one is easily recognisable. I think Ruthie Hensall is by far the best Fantine.. and the girl who plays Eponine with this cast is fanastic too. AND I have always found Michael Ball to be 'more my mum's taste' type singer/actor.. ..but I love him as Marius!

I love Javert's voice the best.

DH got it from a site called DC++ but downloading from there is not really straightforward - you have to have 'stuff to exchange'.. (it's all a bit complicated.. I leave it all to DH!)

Dh said he will download itand stick it on a CD for anyone who wants it, if you CAT/email me your addresses (no charge obv!).

shows where my brain is. I was convinced that today was Monday and that we'd just had Saturday. Ah well... the upside is that it's the weekend. Have fun tomorrow!

Just to warn you though.. it's not 'perfect', as it's from other people's MP3s so some of the songs finish a little abruptly etc.. and they are not all in correct order.. is this ok?

OMG!!!! I AM GOING TO SEE LES MIS ON WEDNESDAY!!!!!!

As I was banging on about earlier in the thread, I have wanted to see this for over 10 years!! And have had the video for 10 years..and known all the songs since longer ago than that! Just recently I have been having a real Les Mis phase again.. and been playing the cds in the car.. and the kids have learnt all the songs.. and .. and..

...calm my best friend has just rang me and tols me she has booked two fourth row tickets for us to go to London on Wednesday and see it!!!! I cannot believe it! What a friend!I have been a bit down and stressed just lately.. so she goes and does this!!!

I can't wait... I will be able to discuss it properly with the rest of you!

He got told to Shhhh and be quiet from grumpy woman if front He just whispered a question to me.

Anyway I told him he better just sing in his head

But for the last song I told him he could sing

They got standing ovation

DSs Trumpet teacher told him he knew the trombone player so at the end we went done to say hello but the conductor said he would be "on the way to the pub" so he would say hello to him for DS

Javert was very good, my fav character I think.

Glad you had a great time! Cripes I am probably going to be told to shhhhh then! There is no way I amnot going to be able to prevent myself from singing along.. surely we should be able to! .. I have been waiting for this for years (and don't have the best voice I have to say!) Just because it's called 'Les Miserables', it doesn't have to attract all the miserable sods in London who don't allow any audiience participation!!!
