Dd would like to go to Disneyland Paris shes 12. Im not too fussed but dh, ds and I wouldn't mind for 2 days and then spend a couple of days in Paris.
Is 2 days enough for disney?
What is a good location to stay in, probably air bnb where both trips are possible?

Have you tried asking chatgpt?

I’d stay in 2 locations - both will be fairly full on days so avoiding too much of a journey to and from accommodation would be invaluable.

id stay n Serris for Disneyland if you’re looking for budget ish. Not sure about Paris itself

2 days is enough for Disney - you could stay longer and do more, but you can do your main priorities in a couple of days easily, I’m sure.
Unless you are paying for fast passes it’s worth arriving early and staying later as queues can be much shorter early and during fireworks. Maybe take a break in the middle of the day.

Maybe I need longer, I was thinking arrive on first day, 2 days disney. 1 day Paris last day home bit maybe 2 days in Paris and move locations

We did similar last year. We stayed in 2 different locations, city centre Paris (le Marais area) for 3 nights. We could have done 2 night in the city but with flight times for us 3 night made it more chilled.
Then got the train out to Disney early the first morning, takes about 1h from central Paris and we were there just after 8am, We stayed one night at Disney hotel Chayanne so had 2 full days in the park. If you stay at one of their hotels you get the 8-9am magic hour access every day you’re in the park which is good.
Just felt more convenient for us to stay at the park to minimise travel time and it was also a little cheaper to book as a Disney package.

Our DDs were 11 & 14 at the time so had enough stamina for full days. They weren’t interested in the shows or character breakfast type things so it was just the rides, parade and fireworks on day 1. We managed to go on everything we wanted to (some more than once) so yes it was enough time. You need to make a plan, get the app to monitor queue lengths and use your magic hour wisely!

We stayed in an Airbnb near Val de Europe shopping centre and the train station was a few minutes away. We done 3 Disney days, a day trip to Paris and a day pass to use the swimming pool at the nearby centre parcs.

We have just come back from this trip. It was great, though busy! We did 3 nights in Paris in Le Marais and 4 nights in an Aparthotel in Serris. We had three days in Paris, two days at Disney and 1 day went to Center Parcs (day pass) which the kids loved. We managed to get on most of the rides we wanted to, but the queues for popular rides were long so if I did it again I'd consider getting a queue jump pass for a couple of them (bear in mind we were there at peak season in August though). The hotel we stayed in wasn't a Disney one but had a free shuttle which took us right to the park in 10 min and we had a supermarket next door. When I priced everything up it was cheaper than a Disney hotel, gave us better accomodation (1 bed apartment) and meant we avoided the faff of changing hotels on Disney days. Personally I wouldn't visit Disney from central Paris, but I would do it the other way round if you only wanted one day in Paris.

I didnt actually realise Disney and Paris were so far apart, Im not sure why I thought they were close🙈
Lots to think about and research!

Did 3 days feel too long?

We did this in Feb half term last year (great time to go, it was fairly quiet). Found a Paris hotel that had a separate space for DS (11 at time) and was close to a metro (Hotel Monsieur and spa) did 2 days there.

Then took early train across to DL dropped our luggage at the station and headed into the park. Stayed onsite (sequoia lodge) to maximise the time there, so had 2 full days in the parks.

2 days was enough for us as we’ve been a few time before and have done Disneyworld several times. If you’ve not been before then maybe a 3rd day would be better. We’ve also visit Paris many times so 2 days was enough for us too.

have a great time, don’t stress over planning. Do book a viewing place for the fireworks (book via app, think it’s called something like preferred viewing). The location and extra rides we could do whilst everyone was jostling and waiting in their viewing spot was well worth it.
