Hi. Which theme park is better for a 3 & 6 year old (the 6 year old loves rollercoasters), Alton towers, Blackpool Pleasure Beach or Flamingo Land.
I have heard mixed reviews on all.
Thank you!

Another vote for Drayton Manor.
Thomas land is fab
There's a zoo
Good indoor and outdoor play areas

Alton towers is amazing for that age because of cebebbies land, and the new bluey ride is fantastic.weve never had a problem with ques and there's loads to do,totally recommend it for that age.

I haven't done the ones on your list, a friend done Alton towers and loved it for her little ones. I love Legoland, they have a good range of rides for younger ones, as long as over 90cm in height. Under 90cm it is a bit limited

Another vote for Drayton Manor.
Alton Towers has cbeebies but otherwise is limited for little ones.
At those ages you'd be better choosing somewhere where more rides are available to both kids.

Blackpool pleasure beach is fantastic and perfectly safe! A brilliant day out with fantastic rides and if you time it right the queues aren't too bad

Guillivers Valley! It's fantastic especially the overnight stay - it has the theme park rides - log flume, rollercoasters, tamer "tea cup" type rides, a small farm, softplay, climbing walls and inflatables, laser quest, play areas dotted around the park (mine loved the western play area). They also usually do a little show at the start of the day for park opening and have characters that you can meet & greet. We've taken my three since they were tiny (youngest was 16 months when we first went) and and the queues are very manageable compared to places like legoland and alton towers. In the height of the summer holidays the queue for the racing rollercoaster is usually about 20 minutes and is the longest wait in the park whereas we went to legoland recently and the queues were 60+ minutes for most rides (although mine did enjoy the splash park at legoland!)

Do you have a Gullivers near you? They’re fab for that age. Definitely don’t do Alton Towers, it’s so big, the queues are horrific, and it’s aimed at older kids. Blackpool is pretty dated and doesn’t feel particularly safe. Don’t know anything about Flamingoland

Not mentioned but have you considered Drayton Manor? I think it’s great for that age. Alton Towers IMO isn’t great for 6 year olds, your 3 yo would be fine but we went when my youngest was 6 and she wasn’t interested in CBeebies but too small for any decent rides! Drayton Manot has a good mix for young ones and is usually not that busy.
Gullivers is also very good for that age, only been to the new one at Rother Valley but was impressed.

I second Drayton Manor, we were there Sunday just gone. Everyone had a blast, older children loved the rides, and my toddler loved Thomas Land and the zoo. Great day out for all ages❤️
