Best beach bags for family days out

When you go to the beach, what do you take all your stuff in? We have a trolley/pull-along thing, and yet with three kids I still seem to take multiple rucksacks and bags and a coolbox!

Any recommendations for bags/ideas that can reduce the amount of luggage we seem to take!

I love the Yeti coolbag but not the pricetag. I wonder if anyone has some recommendations for massive bags or ideas! HELP, i feel like I'm taking the kitchen sink full of bags with wet clothes, towels, food, drinks etc etc.

Many thanks in advance!!

Yes, it’s bags and bags for us too. I can’t find a way around it.
small personal backpack for purse, phone, book etc….
trolley with buckets, spades, wet suit, body boards etc….
waterproof bag for life with swim gear, sun cream, towels, hoodies, sun hats etc…
cool bag for drinks and food

I don't think it's really possible to avoid multiple bags especially if you are setting out for the day with a packed lunch or you are somewhere where temperatures are closer to 20 than 30. I have a good sized (45 - 50 - 20cm) beach bag I bought in Australia it's a 'Jeanie B' brand one. It holds 4 towels, books, goggles, sun glasses, biscuits, suncream, spades, bat and ball and at least a couple of litres of water. It does get ridiculously heavy with all that in it. If somewhere with no umbrellas I carry a beach tent separately. We live nowhere near a UK beach, so usually if a beach is involved we are abroad and it will be warm enough not to need hoodies and dry clothes for anyone. Rather than carry lunch a parent, usually not me, nips to the minimarket from the beach at lunchtime to grab bread and cheese and fruit for everyone. That depends on location of course, but has nearly always been a possibility. I do try and minimise the clothing aspects by having everyone wear beach wear so rash vests, crocs, their sun hat when leaving the hotel.

Thank goodness it’s not just me. Fingers crossed there is a magic solution!,

Yes, it’s a nuisance. We have a trolley that has buckets and spades, the tent, drinks etc and then full of multiple bags too. Am hanging in for a magic answer…
