Quiet Dublin accommodation

Hi, I think I’m looking for a Unicorn.

We are attending and event in Dublin for 2 nights at a weekend and need 2 double rooms and 2 single rooms. 6 adults. The 2 singles can’t share a twin.

We want to see Dublin but also have an event in Gormanston.

Mostly we want something quiet. Thought we had found it but reviews say lots of traffic noise in centre.

If we stay outside the centre taxis are looking at over £250 for the weekend.

Anyone local or who have been recommend anywhere?

I love a premier inn!

It would be in or around communion or confirmation time here the weekend you are booking which potentially is the issue.

Next year ? That's mad everywhere is booked out. Can’t see anything obvious happening in Dublin that weekend ( it’s usually concerts or sporting events that sell out Dublin hotels )

Maybe they arent booked out its just too early to book? In case they get weddings or something maybe?

That particular Premier Inn isn't a bad option actually. It's one of the better ones.

Actually that could be why!

May 2027? It's more likely that you're too early rather that too late to make a booking. Maybe make a refundable booking with the premier inn now just so you have something and start looking again in the Autumn.

By the way, that house on Bath Ave is actually up for sale so if you were to book it now it would most likely be cancelled by May.

BettyscakeShop · 16/06/2026 21:54

Just wanted to book now to be guaranteed accommodation. I’m going to book the premier inn for now then look again in a few months. Will come back and try all the recommendations again.

The team have now booked the Premier Inn too as they have the best accessible rooms they could find.

Never had this stress booking anywhere before!
