Paris recommendations?

We are spending 2 full days in Paris next week and at the moment have no plans. Any recommendations of places to visit or places to eat? Travelling with DH and 3 children (16, 13, 4). Also one fussy eater!
Thank you.

First visit? Or visited many times? Interests? Honestly, there are so many similar threads that I’ve posted recommendations on, I’d suggest you do a quick search (similar threads usually appear at the bottom of the page).

Be warned that it’s a French holiday weekend, so will be busy. Try and prebook some restaurants, like Bouillon Pigalle, which is reasonably priced, lots of options, and handy for Montmartre.

If you’re here next Saturday, the 23rd May, it’s the ‘Nuit des Musées’, which is one of my favourite nights. You’ll be able to visit a lot of museums and moments free of charge, in the evening, up until 23h or even midnight. Some need booking, but most you can just wander in.

We usually go for dinner first, then a museum. The Rodin is lovely, as is Les Invalides (Army museum).

Paris is lovely (don't let the MN philistine misery put you off)
As per PP, there are many threads on this.
All of this depends on what your teens like and what you like.
The internet is your oyster and Paris is an absolute pearl!!!

I've been many times. Most recently, I visited the tomb of La Fayette, le château de Vincennes, le musée d'Orsay (teen DD was not impressed), le musée du Moyen Age (surprise hit with teen DD; home of the unicorn tapestries).
I have previously enjoyed:
La Grand Arche de la Défense
Montmartre - outside of Sacré Coeur trying for the views but thwarted by v low, thick cloud and surprisingly good lunch in a tourist trap
amazing, typical, delicious lunch a few blocks off the Champs Elysées - not a tourist in sight!
Local haunts: L'Assasain; Café Canibale ... (on the same street 😂out in Bellevue)
Places I re-visit:
Le musée du Louvre ( watch the DaVinci Code with your teens and take them to all the places; Ste Sulpice is magnificent) I like the giant canvases, the Roman statues and the French crown jewels.
L'Arc de Triompe - great counterpart to the Eiffel tower and top room often has an interesting display; I once saw Napoléon's campaign tent!
L'Orangerie - Waterlily paintings
La Tour Eiffel/le champs de Mars
Rue Cler - around a corner from Eiffel tower and packed with cafés/food shops

All-day marathons:
Versailles - rent the bikes (one of these days I'll be there to see a horse show from their école)
Les Invalides - great for history buffs and military buffs

Just copying and pasting my comment on a previous thread, below.

I’d also recommend Breakfast in America (branch just off Champs-Elys plus one in Marais). Not French, of course, but very teen-friendly. My teen loves it there.

My favourite haunts (I live there) are the Jacquemart-Andre as mentioned above, the Hotel de La Marine, Le Petit Palais (free, decent cafe, loos and good pit stop heading down the Champs-Elysees). The covered passageways; Passage Jouffroy is lovely, and just opposite is the Passage Panorama, which is filled with cafes, bars and restaurants.
Check out the Chapel of the Madonna Miraculous Medal next to Le Bon Marche; a place of pilgrimage and a beautiful church. Obviously Notre Dame if you’ve not been since it’s been renovated.
If you like fashion, the Galerie Dior is gorgeous. If you’re into cooking, then E. Dehilleran was Julia Child’s favourite shop. Full of every utensil you can imagine.
