How do Emotion passes work at Puy du Fou?

Hey everyone

We have booked Puy Du Fou for July and included the Emotion passes. I’m excited!

To anyone who has been how do they work exactly? Do you make bookings for shows in advance or is it a dedicated queue? How long before the shows do you need to arrive?

We just booked one day so want to get it right

Thank you!

No idea but it’s an amazing day out!

No idea here either but I saw the show nearly 40 years ago and still remember it!

For the Emotion Pass it's a dedicated queue that gets let in before the main queue. If you're in the main queue it's wise to start queuing about 30 minutes before some of the bigger shows start to make sure that you can get in. If you have the passes generally you only have to start queuing about 10 minutes before the show starts and then you get let in first. There's no seat reservations as such (apart from for wheelchairs etc) - it's a free for all once you're inside the auditoriums. The shows and auditoriums are really immersive and well-planned so there aren't really any seats with restricted views.

It's an amazing experience - have a great time!

Also - get the app and you can plan your day really well. They publish the show times and I'm sure there's an option to plan your day/route so that you can pick which shows you want to see and maximise your time.
The shows are all narrated in French but you can use the app to listen to an English translation (take headphones) - although it's just as interesting without the translation.

(The Vikings, Birds and Romans were our fave shows!)

Amazing thank you! I’m so looking forward to it! I have the ap so will look for show times etc closer to the time

As PP said, it means you have your own separate queue and can generally enter any show you choose up to about 10 minutes before it starts, although I would leave longer than that. We went in the summer holidays a couple of years ago, and although the cost made me break out into a cold sweat it was the best money I've ever spent. The ordinary queues were horrendously long and we got to see every show we wanted.

Thanks I’m glad we got them
