Anyone nervous booking a holiday abroad due to this cancelling of flights and fear or extra costs ?

Hi I would like to book but am a bit cautious , should I be . Your thoughts ?

If I had a package booked I wouldn't worry, but I have booked accommodation in Seville for the end of the month (not cheap) which needs to be paid on Monday - flights were booked last year, so now slightly concerned they might get cancelled last minute, after I have splashed the cash. Would rather get a flight refund than lose my large accommodation budget. Also have accommodation booked for Lisbon in October where I didn't book a flight yet - fear I will now have to reconsider or potentially pay more. We're in process of moving back to UK and job situation not finalised so I haven't booked anything else for this year yet.
