Where to Eurocamp South of France?

Can anyone help recommend a Eurocamp site in the south of France (May half term and want the warmest weather) within an hour's ish drive of Nice or Beziers / Carcassonne please?

I'm looking for one that's:

  • got plenty of Brits (for our DC to make friends)... This is very important
  • decently spaced plots (mobile homes, I mean I'd love a lodge if there's one going!)
  • 4 or 5 star (we're more used to CP and all inclusive! 😬)
  • a great pool complex (DCs fave thing) with heated pools
  • a good size so we can use the restaurant/s, shop, etc. We have disabilities to accommodate and we don't want to have to leave the site
  • beach preferably not too far

First time Eurocamping since I was a kid so I'm a bit nervous and overwhelmed with all the choice. I feel like all the photos make the plots look tight compared to how I remember the tents in the 90s!

Also, does it make a difference if they're run by Homair, Yelloh, Eurocamp themselves, etc?

Anxious traveller, please be kind! 🙏🏼 Thank you

Siblu La Carabasse is fabulous. Vias had everything in easy walking distance including the beach. 20 mins from Beziers.

Le Sérignan Plage is massive. It has several restaurants, direct beach access and a large swimming complex with waterslides. We went in British half term when French children were still in school so it wasn’t peak season, but there was still lots going on.

Thanks! 20 min from Beziers sounds great. Did you find it spacious and more lively / busy or peaceful?

Thanks! That's great to know about the fellow Brits. It sounds like there's a lot to do there. Did you find the plots cramped with it being massive or too busy / chaotic?

Unfortunately, “lots of Brits” and 4/5* are often quite mutually exclusive. In my experience, the ones with a high proportion of Brits (like La Baume, Fréjus) are quite chavvy. There are usually more French, German and Dutch guests at the nicer parks. I can recommend Riviera d’Azur which is a lovely Sandaya park in Saint-Aygulf.

Oh no, no Center Parcs equivalent?! 😕 Thanks for the recommendation

The “premium” cabins and chalets are really well spaced and some are even fairly hidden. They’re all in a separate woody car-free area.
