Would welcome suggestions for U.K. summer holiday for family with two autistic teenage girls.
looking for coastal or forest base, sole use or small site with decent accommodation including hot tub. Not busy, quirky or different good. animals, castles good.
Have done forest holidays etc and looking for new ideas pretty please?
pretty healthy budget.
UK as planes a no go.

Bainland? If it's good enough for Joe Wickes 🤣.
Lots to do near by as it's in Wood hall spa with it's lovely lido and "kinema" in the woods.
RAF coningsby quite interesting too.
Otherwise Clippesby hall or Kelling heath in Norfolk are great.
Bainland is just fab though.

There's some lodges at Kielder which might suit. Or around the Northumberland coast would give you quiet beaches and castles.

Flear Farm in Devon has lots of animals, which the owners let the guests pet and feed each day. The farm has a shared pool and hot tub. There are a couple of castles on the doorstep, and it’s very close to some good sandy beaches too.

Have a look at Grange Park Farm, Maltby-Le-Marsh.

Stopped with our daughter who's awaiting assessment a couple of years ago and she absolutely loved it. Just booked a return visit.

My DD17 loved Woolacombe Sands, massive caravan with a hot tub and surfing lessons. Local places to eat like the Jube that do amazing burgers after a beach day. Ilfracombe tunnel beaches fantastic place to go at low tide.

Have you looked into the Suffolk coast? There’s loads of castles round there, nice walks, it’s by the sea and fairly chilled out.

Rye is also really nice.

Years ago we went to a place called Coombe mill in Cornwall. It was self catering with an onsitefarm
you could wander round anytime. They had feed runs you could feed the lambs etc, collect eggs etc.

it was great - I will add disclaimer they may be too old for that exact one as teens as it was more younger children but something along those lines could be good.
