All inclusive resort

Considering all inclusive resort for first week in August. We are a family of 6 with 4 boys: 10, 13,18,18 and will be booking 3 rooms.
we have done all inclusive before - Olympic lagoon in Cyprus and grand palladium in Ibiza. We find it works really well for us as it takes care of the constant requests for drinks, et cetera from the kids.

I’m looking at Ikos Andalusia but prices are extortionate around 20k for a week.

I don’t mind - if it is as good as I’ve read?

so can anyone give any feedback or alternative suggestions. Our boys are really sporty so good swimming pools., Football mini golf water all really popular with them. And very keen that as many activities are included as possible to avoid a big bill at the end! In addition they all really like their food and one of the appeal of Ikos is the number of restaurants they have in addition to the usual buffet options.

any advice or recommendations welcome

Thank you

No experience of Ikos, sorry, but Creta Maris in Crete has the biggest selection of pools I’ve ever come across, and at least 8 restaurants- we ate somewhere different each night!

Have a look at Anda Barut in Didim, Turkey. We went last year with teen boys and it was really lovely.
Only opened 2024, all inclusive package had usual buffet restaurant with themed nights over the course of the week and also unlimited à la carte (had to book for dinner and get in there quickly on the app) but didn’t require booking for breakfast or lunch. All the food we had was delicious and many branded spirits included.
Had football, sports courts, usual pool activities, volleyball and on site waterpark, I think only things we paid extra for was jet ski at the water sports jetty and a boat trip excursion.
The hotel is divided into 3 zones, we were in the middle community zone. There was a family zone with a zero entry pool for younger families and adults only zone too.
The hotel itself sits fairly remotely outside Altinkum in a bay but can jump in a taxi into town for a change of scene, Altinkum is fairly relaxed.

We loved Hilton Sarigerme (Türkiye).

Sorry I’m a bit late to the thread but I’ve been to Ikos Andalusia and don’t think I’d go again. The place is gorgeous and food is plentiful as you’d expect but it just wasn’t for us. The kids enjoyed the pools and were happy enough but if you wanted to book any extra activities/sports you’d have to get in and book them weeks in advance. Our son wanted to play tennis but the courts were only available at midday when it was too hot to play. I also didn’t enjoy having to make food reservations weeks in advance.
Mist kids of my son’s age were enrolled in a football academy (extra £££) so didn’t have a lot of kids his age to hang out with.
The free bike hire was great though but the best day we had was exploring a nearby town. Sorry for the mixed bag and I can see why some people love Ikos but in the end it turned out not to be my bag.

We've just been to Ikos Andalusia and absolutely loved it. I don't think its worth 20k for a week though (or any holiday apart from a holiday of a lifetime type trip)

I find swim up rooms enable you to relax
whilst they are still in eye sight (younger ones) the Liberty Signa has 3 bed places in the swim up area with an onsite water park etc
