Eurocamp recommendations for a first family holiday abroad with young children

I have 4 children 7, 5, 2 and a 3 month old. Call me crazy, but we would love to take them abroad. Never been abroad as a family before because honestly just not been able to afford it but we have been saving and I came across euro camp. It does seem our kind of thing as we enjoy haven holidays. I’m just worried about being around water with 4 kids! Only my eldest can confidently swim.
has anyone been to euro camp, any recommendations? I think playa montroig looks good fun for the kids!

Do you have an idea of destination? There are Eurocamp or similar across Europe. How would you travel? Do you want to fly or drive somewhere and would you hire a car or not?

The Yelloh sites in France are lovely. We’ve been to Les Sables d’Olonne and Domaine Les Rives near Biscarosse. Les Sables is more accessible if you don’t have a car.

L’Atlantique is a good site for small children. It has a large indoor soft play area and 2 indoor splash park areas; 1 for babies and toddlers and another for young children. They are right next to each other too, so you can keep your eye on your children at the same time. Outside there is an even larger splash area. Bonus that it also has swimming lessons.

We went to Playa Montroig last year and it was great. It's only a couple of years old so all very new and well kept. A small site, very chill. We flew Bristol to Reus. We chose it because it's a short flight and a very short transfer - 20 mins from the airport. In August it was hot but not to the extreme of other parts of Europe further south. The beach is nice, the splash pad was great and there's a small toddler pool, but the rest of the big pool isn't great for young kids/non swimmers as there aren't many shallow parts. There are lots of different playparks. Their favourite was the one with the zip wire near the splash pad. We played mini golf and petanque but were mostly in the splash pad or on the beahc. Didn't really go off site. Restaurant food was fine, but although there are mutiple restaurants, their menus are all pretty samey. The takeaway was good. I'd never done that kind of thing before but it was great for the kids (twins age six)
