First time driving in France as a family. We are catching early ferry to Calais and want to end up in Antibes. What are good stops along the way to make the journey more doable? Thank you!

Beaune is a nice town for a stop.
It sounds like you’ll be doing a lot of driving. With an EV make sure you plan your stops carefully for charging. Friends of ours had difficulties two years ago as a lot of the charging points weren’t working.

France is amazing for EV now although I have never tried it myself. You see banks and banks of them at the service stations in the last year or so.
Snowheads.com is full of skiers who drive to and from the mountains often and they have a long running thread about EV driving.
You have lots of good tips from pp above for the cities to stop at — I’ve stopped in most of them and really enjoyed them.
