How to survive a holiday with the in laws

I rather foolishly agreed to a week long holiday to a Greek island with DH’s parents. No kids yet.

They’re nice people but very different from DH and I. They argue a lot and very often do things in a different way to what we would. They’re also both vegetarian and fussy eaters beyond that.

How do I survive this holiday. We’ve rented a remote villa on a tiny island.

Loud sex on the first night... Hopefully they will be too embarrassed to see you the entire week.

Cancel. Say you are worried about WWIII breaking out. Too scared to travel etc

It^ would be my excuse. It’s also easy to talk convincingly about this - just cite Trump, he provides something every day.
long distance running as @Helpwithdivorce suggested is a good idea but might not be suitable for a remote villa on small island.

Whose idea was this to go on holiday with them?.

Cancel staying with them in the villa of doom.

If that is not possible hire a moped or a 2 seater car and explore the island. Spend as little time as possible with them.
