Travel cot in holiday lodge.

Hi, if you were staying in a wooden lodge type accommodation with a baby in a travel cot would you expect there to be ample space for it or as a parent would you make do with the space you have got and make do?

My husband is fixated on there not being a destinated space for it in Airbnb we rent out.
My opinion is that when you take small children away you make do as your on holiday. Pictures of the rooms are available for guests to see before they book. There's a king size room a twin room with 2 singles and a large living room with sofa bed.
Thought please?

I don't understand what you mean by 'make do'?

Is there space or not?

Look up travel cots and check the dimensions of a few to make sure one will fit beside a bed (double and single room)

Make it a USP that a travel cot will fit in both bedrooms?

Is there enough space for the cot in at least one of the bedrooms, even if it's a squeeze? I would expect to sleep in the same room as the baby.

I would want there to be space to put it in one of the rooms, and to still be able to get out of bed etc. No point providing a travel cot if there isn’t anywhere it can fit in one of the bedrooms.

I would expect enough room in the bedroom for the cot to be in there with us. I do remember being in a caravan and really struggling to get it in. We had to practically wedge it in and I was kinda trapped once in bed but my only concern was that it cld fit.

As PP, you haven't provided the amenity if it doesn't fit in at least one of the bedrooms - safely (ie not wedged up against something that poses a risk of suffocation or injury.

You need to test out that the travel cot you provide fits in the master bedroom. And this fit I mean that this opportunity for the parents to get out of bed, walk around, during the night especially, without the danger of bumping into the travel cot.

I wouldn't necessarily look for a picture with the cot in it when I book, but I may send a question to the landlord if I would require that the cot has to be in the same bedroom me and if I have doubt based on the pictures and I would appreciate if then a photo would be provided.

Yes there is plenty of space, by make do I mean that it will need a bit of rearranging
Just like the sofa bed, a coffee table needs moving so that the bed will fully extend.

Yes it would fit in either room.
