Haven with no car

I would love to take my children away to haven but i don’t drive so a lot of them will not be accessible. Has anyone been before by train, is there one that is easy to get to by public transport? Ideally not taxis either but happy to use a bus if needed after the train or walking. Thanks

Weymouth bay would be ok. There’s a bus stop just outside the site and probably only 10 minutes at most on the bus from the beach. Train station in the centre of Weymouth would only take 10 minutes in a taxi to the haven site.

From London probs easiest ones would be Clacton, seashore or the Kent ones
All the Weymouth ones are also not too long from London and all have buses to them
Other really good option is bognor Butlins from London very easy xx

Combe Haven in Hastings is very easily accessible by train and bus, and lots to do around the area. I’ve never been but my first ever job was there and I used to get the bus everyday! That may have been over 20 years ago! But the same but still runs!

This is the park I was going to suggest.

I went to haven marton mere at Blackpool. They have buses that run from the sea front to haven all day every day. Most supermarkets deliver to your caravan too so you can have a food shop delivered as the onsite store is spenny. We did drive but my friend goes every year and they go on the train from Leicester

I went to Combe have in Hastings on the train

I did get a taxi from the station though but I think you can get a bus

The one at Poole is on a bus route into town. Or it’s a 30 minute walk to the quay.

Sorry if it's already been said as I haven't read the comments, but the big one in Weymouth (Weymouth Bay I think) is very easy to get to by public transport. There's buses a few minutes walk from the station that go there regularly or it is around £10 in a taxi. The one in Burnham is also easy to get to, but it's not as nice and Weymouth itself is a lovely little seaside town. They're the ones we have been to as they are fairly local, but when I've looked, most of them are quite accessible by public transport.

We go to Church Farm Haven at Pagham, near Bognor Regis, by train and bus from London. Bus stop outside park goes to one way to Chichester and other way to Bognor. Both have train stations that connect to East Croydon and Victoria. Taxi from Bognor to Pagham very reasonable.

Both Havens on the North Yorks coast are served by bus (Blue Dolphin and Primrose Valley) but it would be a long train journey from London

I second this;I’d recommend getting off the Train in Filey to catch a bus-the station is next to the bus station there.

Cayton Bay (Parkdean Resorts) is another Holiday along the same stretch which is lovely and accessible.
