Ideas for activities/things to do in Glasgow in April

My friends and I are staying in Glasgow in April and looking for things to do whilst we are there. There are the usual shops, restaurants, bars, cathedral, museums etc, but is there something more exciting? Are there any adventurous activities for middle aged women? We won't have a car so aim to stay in the city.

What about a tour? Various ones but if you like music --Glasgow Music City Tours | Guided Glasgow Walking Tours

Cold water swimming if you're brave -- Pinkston Watersports | Watersports in Glasgow, Scotland

maybe something on at the Women's Library -- Glasgow Women’s Library | Celebrating Scotland’s Women

Jungle Rumble crazy golf is quite fun. It’s indoors, there are two different courses and a couple of bars as well.

The central station tour is surprisingly very good.

I agree that this is worth doing. DH and I have done it and one Christmas we gave DF and DSM, and PIL vouchers for it.

Fayre Play is very fun, it's old-style fair ground games for adults, with cocktails and prizes.

Golf fang, adults only crazy golf. The theming is very clever.

Boom battle bar in the St Enoch centre has 'crazy nolf' which is series of challenge games, very fun. The also have shuffle board and ten pin etc.

Flight club, interactive darts. I haven't been but dp goes with work often.

Splatter art studio also looks good, but I haven't been myself yet so can't vouch.

Looks like this one may be off the cards now going by the videos I'm seeing coming from the ongoing fire in that building tonight. Sad.

It's a building next to the station that caught fire rather than the station itself. The tour is well away from this part of the station.

This perhaps won’t tick the ‘exciting’ box and not sure how many days you’ll be in the city but if time allows, I’d definitely recommend a trip to Loch Lomond. Train from Glasgow to Balloch (v straightforward) then book a river cruise up the loch. Breathtakingly beautiful.

Whatever you do, I hope you enjoy our wonderful city & its hospitality.

If you like slightly odd things I can recommend going to see Sharmanka.

If you are walking around the city remember to look up! Lots of incredible architecture.

You could hire some Voi ebikes and have an explore.

Another vote for the Central Station tour if the station has reopened - it's extremely popular though so you'd need to book way in advance.
