Please find a may half term break before I go mad

Budget: Up to 4k

Location: Any country unlikely to be at war (I know this is difficult)

2 Adults, 12 year old boy, 6 year old girl.

Would like lots of activities for the kids so I can just switch off and drink cocktails.

Some sun would be nice but appreciate this is hard to guarantee.

Stay at the Novotel, they have a pool.
There is literally tonnes to do in York for all ages.

We live an hour away. The DTeens still cite the 2 nights we spent in York as one of our best holidays.
