Tenerife - Siam park or aqua land?

Any recommendations please? I know Siam park is meant to be amazing but will be me, DH, DSS 8, DD 2 and DD 7 months. Thinking aqualand may be better for the kids at these ages?

TIA!

Siam is amazing. You can get the free blue bus there from most resorts. It has small slides for younger ones, a lazy river with double rings and a great wave pool. My kids have loved it since they were babies

Aqualand for those ages. Queues in Siam park were ridiculous. Look at some tik toks of the lazy river. Gets grid locked. I would prefer Siam park without the younger kids in term time. We preferred aqualand when we went with kids aged 11 and 8 at the time. The wave pool is kind of mad. You need an adult per child to watch them in it. We were taken by the 1st wave and not expecting how big/crazy the waves were going to be. Food was great at Siam park though. Not so much at Aqualand.

There is absolutely no comparison… Siam Park every single day. There is a reason it’s been voted best water park in the world something like 9 years in a row.
has a huge lagoon Beach area for those that want to chill out, but once an hour it has the most enormous waves!
other rides are just incredible… the variety and thrills will not disappoint

2 of the kids are far too young to know they need waterpark options. Why go all that way to go a theme park/Center Parcs type thing? You will set yourself up for activity holidays if you start down that route

Siam Park all the way BUT if you go in school holidays the queues will be horrendous - we managed 4 rides in 3 hours during Feb half term. The lagoon beach was also rammed, the whole place felt very overcrowded.
Lazy river is closed for refurbishing, so worth checking when that reopens.
I’d also question your sanity taking a child under 1 to any kind of waterpark, especially as it’ll cost over 200 euros for all of you and you won’t be able to go on anything with a baby!
We’ve been going since it first opened right up to covid, this was our first time back since 2019 and we’ve already agreed we won’t go in school hols again because of the queues

I went with an under 1 last year and yeah, admittedly, I didn't go on anything (and I love waterparks) but I still had a great day. Also done aqualand and so I would definitely say with those ages, that's the one to go to. Me and baby just walked around all day at siam park and 8 year old was too small/scared of some of the rides, whereas aqualand is much more child friendly. They have a dolphin show too if that's your kind of thing.

@sharkstale fair enough, I just don’t see the point of forking out for expensive tickets for anything if we can’t actually use the majority of the facilities but we saw plenty of babes in arms this time around so it must be a thing. Same with Alton Towers when kids are only tall/old enough for Cbeebies. DC had never been until this year and they are 10 (and really tall!)
We’ve always swerved Aqualand due to it’s reputation of being a bit rubbish but also the animals for entertainment doesn’t sit right with me, I actually thought they had knocked the live animal shows on the head so disappointing to hear that’s still happening

Thanks all, great to hear your opinions. @Denim4ever it’s more just a day out for DSS. The two little ones are free at both parks so I know toddler will just enjoy splashing around wherever we are.
I think maybe aqualand this time round would be more suitable then, with €25 difference in total standard tickets I thought Siam was going to be a lot more than aqualand from hearing Siam’s really good reputation.
