UK passport traveling with EU family

We are travelling from an EU country but my daughter age 20 has a uk passport, we have eu passports.
Can she come with us in eu lane at Rome airport or will she have to go on her own?

She will need to go in the queue for UK passports.

Can we go with her? She is neurodiverse and I think she might panic if shes waiting a long time

No, she needs to go in the lane that matches her passport type, usually airports only allowed people to go to the wrong lane if they are with a child, so if she was ten you could go in the ‘all other passports’ lane. Can she not book assistance?

Can your dd acquire citizenship and an EU passport through yours? I mean for future travels. My DCs all have EU citizenship though my getting it.

Yes I'll definitely get her one for the next trip but that won't be here in time. I can't get assistance, shes functional but will panic. I thought we could all go together through all passports or is it if you have an eu passport you have to go through eu lane?

I understood that families travelling together should stay together to pass through immigration.

Probably simplest to see if the airport has any guidance on its website, or to ask when you get there.

I need to do this but in reverse…I’m the only one without an EU passport. Up until now we’ve gone through separately, or on a ferry/the tunnel where there is only one line, but I have been advised that actually I can also use the EU line because you are meant to stay together. I have a friend in the same situation who uses the EU line and I have researched it and it seems in most airports that is the case but I would look up the specific airport you are going to be using.

@FlyingFlamingo I am flying into Rome Fiumicino but I can't see this information anywhere. There doesn't seem to be a clear answer
