LEGOLAND end of July

Hi all, I have booked LEGOLAND for my DD’s birthday at end of July (she will be 7). I got 2 nights in the LEGOLAND hotel plus theme park entry for £500 which seemed like a very good deal for the time of year.
But I’ve just been reading the thread about Merlin cancelling fast passes for autism/ADHD and I’m questioning my decision. We wouldn’t have been eligible for the passes anyway but the thread had a lot of discussion about queuing times in general. Obviously I was expecting plenty of queuing in the summer holidays but if everything is an hour plus I don’t think I could cope with the moaning (and that’s just from my husband 😅).
Was looking at fast passes and was thinking of getting 2 - we have a younger DD age 2 who wouldn’t be able to go on most big rides anyway so one of us would have to stay with her. Also thinking fact we are staying in the onsite hotel means we can arrive early before the queues start to build up too much.
Anyway looking for experiences and opinions!

We stayed in the hotel there a couple of years ago. I downloaded the app which allows you to see queue times and I looked at it a bit on the weekends before we went so I could see which rides had the longest wait. We then planned to go on those in the time you have there before the park opens to the public. We only really did a couple of hours in the park too and also used the pool at the hotel when it was really busy in the park.

Are you in the park for two days? If so I think you will be fine, you can get on several rides first thing each day, can see the shows/miniland etc in the middle of the day, could even return to the hotel to rest/swim/use the playroom and then head back out late afternoon when the queues die down again. Enjoy it 🥰

You should be fine with a bit of planning and using the earlier entry for the rides you really want to do most.
Presumingly you have 2 days in the park so you could get a fast pass for one of tgem
We used to have annual passes and would sometimes spend a whole day enjoying everything else other than the rides (shows, workshops, splash park and mini land.)

Ok thanks everyone, feeling a lot better about it now 🙂
anyone know if the fast pass can be transferred between people or is it a wristband you can’t take off?

It’s been a couple of years since we stayed at Legoland last but you should get a fast pass for the first hour of each day you’re there - use that wisely aiming for the rides with the biggest queues usually or those you want to do again.
Have breaks in the hotel pool (think you have to book?) & the water park.
