If you give the school plenty of notice to take a child out of school for a week or 2 will you still get fined? ( This question is for England)

Most likely, it all depends on the money. There are a few situtations were schools will make an exception eg to fit around cancer treatment.

Yes.

Fines aren't about the length of notice given, they're about the reason for absence. You might be fined for taking a term time holiday.

If you’re off for long enough, yes. The amount of notice you give is irrelevant.

It's very school and area dependent. But more importantly, what year are they in? If it's an exam year then just don't do it.

That should say it depends on the school!

Yes, you will be fined if your child is absent for 10 or more sessions, regardless of notice.
