Those of you with teens, what are your summer holiday plans this year? We don’t have anything booked yet and it’s making me anxious!

Ibiza. We love it. Have done 4 years in a row now and just looking at booking again for this summer.

Tell me more @boulevardofbrokendreamss? Where do you stay, hotel or villa? Is it really busy? What do you and the teens do day to day? I’ve never been but would love to.

Croatia.

We stayed at a Valamar last year and it was amazing and voted best holiday ever so staying at another one. Lots of hanging out teen stuff to do, lovely beaches and pools.

I'd recommend Hvar if you're looking.

It depends on what sort of teens they are! Mine aren’t into nightlife.

I am always trying to get the magic balance of relaxation time, but also some activities (mainly for DH and DS who need to be kept busy!), plus some sightseeing/history for me, nice food too of course. We like a bit of swimming but aren’t sun worshippers so avoid solely beach holidays.

We’ve done the Alps a few times with teens (both French and Austrian alps), they loved it. If they like doing activities, there’s loads of swimming / waking / cable cars / climbing / cycling / rafting etc plus you can combine it with a visit to a city like Munich or Geneva, depending on where you fly in to. Scenery is stunning - but not so big on the night life, so depends on what the teens are into.

Also Netherlands and Amsterdam was a good holiday, although the weather was mixed, but they loved the country and Amsterdam was a lot of fun.

We don’t like it too hot so are avoiding southern Europe in the summer, so looking for other ideas!

Iberostar Waves Club Cala Barca in Mallorca for the second year running. It just worked so well for all of us. Sports clubs all day and evening for DS, rockpooling for DD, lovely views, beaches and walks for DH and I. Good food, fun entertainment.

@minipieWe go to Es Cana, hotel Erosa. The food is not great but the location, beaches, more than make up for that (I’m extreme fussy about food ). W we’ve been three years now where I budget that we eat out. The lunch, dinner, entertainment are fab.
