New Year ski hotel ideas

Hello all!
I’m on the hunt for a unicorn ski hotel and thought the Mumsnet hive mind might have some suggestions!
We are looking for:
*Ski in ski out (don’t mind a brief shuffle across snow but not up for long coach transfers to lifts)
*Great teaching for kids and nursery slopes (DCs will be 11, 8 and 5)
*Snow sure for last week of December
*lots of kids stuff in hotel (pool etc)
*room setup for own rooms for kids.
*

we stayed in the Vestlia in Geilo this year which was great but not amazing variety of slopes for adults and quite a long way to get there so would love to look at some alternatives.

Thanks in advance!

Tauernhof in Grossarl is a great family hotel and the family suites have two separate sleeping areas.
The ski resort is located at a snow-sure altitude, the ski season officially starts each year at the end of November, and most of the ski runs are also have snowmaking machines.

You could look at RockyPop in Flaine. It’s a fun hotel, very family centric and Flaine is snow sure and an easy transfer from Geneva (or drive from UK). Good nursery slopes, lots of ski schools. Only thing is it’s not ski in ski out, it is a 5-10 min walk (along a road not across snow) to slopes and lifts I’d say. There are RockyPops in other resorts too.

MMV in Tignes is ski in ski out onto nursery slopes and had kids club and pool. We did NYE there in 2022 and could see a few fireworks from our window at midnight.

Any number of Kinderhotels in Austria would fit the bill - for example Ellmauhof in Hinterglemm - or really any village-based resort in Austria, Italy or France.

In no particular order:

Saalbach-Hinterglemm, Zell am See, Maria Alm, Leogang, Flachau, Wagrain, Westendorf, St Anton, Lech, Zurs, St. Johann in Tirol ... and many others in Austria.

La Rosiere, Courchevel, Val d'Isère, Val Thorens, Tignes, Avoriaz ... and others in France.

La Thuile, Kronplatz, Livigno ... in Italy.

If you've not skied the Alps before, look at what the main tour operators have to offer in the way of packages. Even if you don't decide to book with them, by looking at Crystal, Inghams, Nielsen, Heidi (and others) you'll hopefully get some inspiration. There is a skiing forum here on MN and an excellent forum over on Snowheads.com
