we are hoping to take our daughter ( turning 10) in March.
She has only ever been to a couple of small UK theme parks.

And we stayed in a Eurocamp a short drive away from Efteling, was like £250 for 5 nights and loads on site to do. We take the ferry as we like to have our car and bring bikes etc. (it’s Holland after all!) Plus the kids absolutely love the ferry trip!

I didn’t want to go but loved it, took DD 8. We got up early, made the most of the passes. If you get the app you can see queues coming down, do the bigger, busier rides first.

I was due to go at Xmas
Waited until the week before to book the eurodisney passes all sold out

Panic set in
Was like wtaf

It was 395 per day for 4 of us to get in

So
We stayed in the area
Had a great time
Went to the Disney village
Got Ubers into Paris for day trips
Went shopping in Val d Europe and kids never even blinked an eye

(Next time will go mid week prob April time)

Is this the one in France....outrageous prices, all junk food and heavy security checking bags for any food brought in...we took students there for an animation event, not for the theme park....we loathed the place !

It doesn’t sound like your kind of place.

there is junk food if that’s your preference. There is also fine dining and everything in between.

you are absolutely allowed to take your own food in to the park.

there are bag checks at the entrance to each park (same as you get going to the theatre or a sports game).

what place doesn’t have security these days and would you really want to to visit if they weren’t checking?

I've been there several times in recent years, and while there is security, it's to check for weapons and bombs, not food. You are absolutely allowed to take food/picnics into the parks with you, and plenty of people do.

Love that you call it euro disney, it was that for 18 months in the 90’s or so, been Disneyland paris since!

3 days 2 nights was fantastic. Might go a second time but that would be plenty, however brilliant it was. Thoroughly enjoyed if.
