Center Parcs for teens?

Our school currently has very odd school holidays that we are only able to utilise this year as our youngest started this year but they’re likely to change next year. We’re going long haul for 2 weeks in the summer, but as a knee jerk reaction to our last school holiday as a family outside of traditional term time we are considering booking Center Parcs in March (we went when they were very little years ago). Is Center Parcs still fun for teens? Ours are all pretty amenable to family time (for teens). But wondering if I am clinging on to a holiday from years gone by!

I think so.

Essentially, you’ve only got to entertain them for three days, as you’ll be checking in and out, so if you went somewhere like Longleat for instance, you could do swimming on the Monday and the safari on the Friday, I think they’d be fine. There are loads of aerial stuff, a tree top glider at Elveden, pool, ten pin bowling, football, rock climbing, some locations have escape rooms, laser shock, a gamer themed obstacle course, interactive games, tennis & badminton courts, interactive squash walls etc. They can hook a console up to the tv and you could get family games for you for you all to play together. Stick one of them in charge of the bbq. Hire a bike for them and let them run free.

That’s what I love about center parks- what ever age our kids have been, they’ve loved it.
biking, swimming, boating, pool, and lots of freedom.
have fun!

Yes, especially if they’re outdoorsy people who like bikes as well as the other activities. I was 20-ish when I first went to CP with a group of friends - we mainly did swimming, racquet sports, pool, drinking and spent time in the lodge.

we’ve just been with my two young children and we saw groups of teens together, no parents, but obviously they had decided it was for them.

swimming and water slides seem great for carefree youngsters, along with bowling, sports bar and, if they’re fancy, the spa.

Thanks all, yes I think I’m going to go for it, they can wonder off when we go to the spa!

Yes but consider the European options! So much nicer and you can combine with a trip to Efteling or another theme parks
