Ryanair cabin bag recommendations

I'm flying Ryanair later in the year and have both an underseat bag and a cabin bag allowance.

Does anyone have a tried and tested recommendation for the cabin bag? Am dreading getting it wrong at the airport and having to pay more !

We are only going for 2 nights so won't be taking a huge amount. Thank you so much in advance.

Look up Ryanair cabin bag on Amazon, there will be loads with the right measurements and plenty of reviews.

This company is great: www.trippluggage.ie/

OP you've got an allowance of a 55x40x20 bag like a trolley case, plus another bag 50x30x20 like a small rucksack or handbag.

(For 2 nights that's quite a lot!)

All you need to do is make sure whatever bags you take fit those specs including wheels etc. Just measure whatever you're taking. Or plug the measurements into Amazon and take your pick.

I have a CabinMax rucksack. If you get their packing cube you can fit a lot in. I went to Athens last year for fove days with mine. They also do cabin bags.

Just go to their website, they can search based on the airline.

(I don't work for them, promise!)

Include wheels and handles. You do not need to get the biggest compliant bag. For 2 days with your allowance I would take a small handbag or sling as my small bag/personal item and a 30-35l backpack. Maxing your allowance (68l!) for a couple of days is nuts.

Sorry, error in my post above. The smaller bag can have dimensions of 40x30x20. I couldn't edit.

For the underseat one I take a squashy fold up bag. Could be like a la pliage if you don’t mind it going on the floor ;). I have a cheaper similar sized one from elsewhere. They mostly target those with cabin bags with wheels to be checked in the cage sizer.

My bag can conform to any size and meets all budget airlines underseat requirements if necessary , and if it doesn’t fit I take out a jumper and put it on.

But it’s never been checked and when full to bursting, does exceed their size guidelines. I fly Wizz regularly.

Another tip is to buy something in duty free or post passport control and pay for a bag, then you can add a few extra items to it if necessary.

Thanks all, all links, details and advise really appreciated. I've looked on Amazon but there are so many options so wanted to ask for "lived experience" recommendations. Thanks again xx
