Booster seat on Ryanair

Has anyone done this as it looks like it will cost £18 return per seat which is cheaper than hiring when we get there. But has anyone actually done this and did you put it in a bag or wrap it some how. thanks

Oh this is good, glad I stumbled on it! Was just about to fork over £40 for a booster seat in the hire car!

ChasingSquirrels · 04/06/2008 14:41

what is the £18 for? putting your seat on the airline seat? If so what a racket!

OverMyDeadBody · 04/06/2008 14:47

I think it's for taking a bulky object, at least that's what they also charge for taking bulky objects.

ChasingSquirrels · 04/06/2008 14:49

oh right.
I took a lightweight booster and back that was a fiver. It fits into a drycleaning suit carrier really well. We have flown either easyjetb or ryanair with it and no extra charge, ut a few years ago.

OverMyDeadBody · 04/06/2008 14:54

did you take it as hand-luggage then? That would be ideal for me as all my weight allowance is already used up.

ChasingSquirrels · 04/06/2008 21:09

no, it went in the hold, this was pre-charging per item, and it was quite bulky I suppose - but very light, and never got charged extra for it.
