That the standard ticket to visit the Alhambra doesn’t get you inside the palace- for this you need to book at least 6 months in advance and pay a crazy amount of money.

I paid about £20.

In some christian countries places complete shut down on sundays so absolutely no food shopping or things to do.

The food in China isn’t ’Chinese’ as I know it.

That taxis in some parts of Devon are few and far between. We went by bus from Beer to Sidmouth and tried to get a taxi back to our B&B in the evening. No chance. A barman told me that all the taxi drivers ferry the old dears to shopping etc during the day and don't bother to come out at night. We tried about 10 firms before forking out for a hotel.

Also that in some parts of Greece you still can't flush toilet paper. I have been going to Greece for years and in recent years there has been no problem with flushing toilet paper. This year there was. Not pleasant as I got food poisoning or a bug.
