Hello, can anyone can offer some words of wisdom on the best places to visit in this wonderful looking city? I've got approx four days there soon. I love art and culture, history etc. I also like open air, nice green spaces/parks to walk around.
Most of all I love nice places to eat and drink! I'd be grateful for any advice.

I enjoyed the practice at the Spanish Riding School. The arena is beautiful and the horses did some spectacular jumps. Maybe we got lucky and not a long queue either. Didn’t visit in high summer though.

The Belvedere, the Schonbrunn Palace and Hapsburg Palace were the best. Plus the Art History Museum and the Albertina. The Wien Museum is good and don’t forget St Stephen’s Cathedral. Loads of places to eat.

Just a heads up that in the high summer, the horses leave the city and go to the country for their summer holidays. I always love that they do that for them!

@Lobelia123 And tour! We saw them in London this year. Yes, they do get holidays as Household Cavalry horses do - at the seaside!
