It’s gorgeous. Quite genteel. If you hire a car or get bus or do tour bus you can go to Formentor, Pollensa old town & Cala San Vincente nearby or Soller for a day.
Restaurants I like Brisas on the front atm plus Cellar La Para for old school Mallorca cuisine. There’s so many nice places to eat.

It's lovely and, as said above, quiet and genteel. We did a great trip which involved various types of transport - coach, tram, train and boat - and took us to parts of the island inland which we wouldn't otherwise have got to. We also did a free guided walk to another town. Most people got the bus back but we walked back on our own.

It’s lovely. The Pinewalk is great for strolling and people watching. The island is gorgeous, with loads to see and do. They had ongoing problems with water quality in one area of the beach (the best bit) a couple of years ago and I’m not sure whether they’re resolved yet. We were advised by lifeguards to get out of the sea. Worth checking.

The sea issues on the Pinewalk stretch are intermittent but not been too bad this year. For swimming, head further along the beaches to Tamarells, there’s a nice new beach bar too!

I've been there three times. As others have said, there is plenty to do. In addition, there is a lovely market in Alcudia old town. It's easy to get the bus there and also reasonably priced to get a taxi. There is a trip just across to Formentor where you travel on a coach and a boat. Try the Gran Cafe 1919. It's right in the centre of Puerto Pollensa. They have push buttons on the tables to call the waiting staff and it's good quality food and drinks. PP is an excellent resort and you will find plenty to do. Have a good holiday.

When we went to Alcudia market the buses and taxi queues to get back were ridiculous- people were having to wait hours and every time a bus came people would ignore the queue and push to get on board. Vowed to avoid market day forever after that!

We've been twice in high season but not on market day. There are still plenty of shops and stalls on other days and no big queues for transport. Also, there are lots of lovely cafes and restaurants.

There's still lots to see and do on other days and all in the setting of the lovely old town. It might be a good idea to avoid market day. If you didn't go on a market day, then perhaps you were just unlucky.
