I’m going to Cassis by myself next month.

Can anyone recommend a mid-priced restaurant for a nice dinner one night please?

And any other top tips for Cassis?

Not going to be much help I am afraid, but hopefully bump will help,

i used to eat there a lot but not for ages so can’t really say now. We used to like the one at the far end of the front almost in the sea but it was ages ago.
It gets busy in summer and is hard to get in and out of by car. There are fabulous walks along the calanques. I used to go the beach out of season just outside the town. It’s is very sheltered but is pebbly so you need sea shoes/plastic ( not sure what they are called). I can’t remember if the main beach is pebbly. If you have a car would suggest the route des crêtes towards la ciotat. ( once again busy and avoid sundays, and check it’s open since can offen be closed).
i like la ciotat, bandol ( and think the train stops in these)and whilst Marseille can be earthy to say the least, I like it more now with all the new changes. I especially like the Mucem and the Cosquer is well worth a visit ( book in advance).
If you don’t fancy Marseille, then Aix en Provence is lovely and has the CEzanne exhibition atm. ( not so easy to get to if no car though.
Have a fab time.

Thank you @Lucylurker . I’m getting the train there for 4 days, so I’ll probably stick with Cassis and the calanques.
