Vaccinations for Agadir?

Hi! We are thinking of booking a holiday to Agadir. I wouldn’t have thought about it but my mum told me to check about vaccinations. I’ve read it’s recommended for kids to have Hep A and Typhoid vaccine if going to Morocco. Anyone who’s been to Agadir for a one week holiday - did you get these vaccinations? TIA

We were there years ago and didn’t get any vaccines. It’s a very clean and modern tourist destination. I’d be amazed if you needed to get those kinds of vaccinations.

Depends where your staying and your plans. Staying in a resort? Unlikely to need any extra travel vaccinations. Visiting a Morrocan family? Maybe if your eating / drinking tap water. I've travelled throughout Morocco and I love the country, not felt necessary to have any vaccinations for me and kids.

Been to Agadir many times and never had vaccinations. Like a previous posted said it's generally clean and modern in the hotels. Just be cautious if eating/ drinking outside of the hotel ( we don't tend to) and watch out for stray dogs/ cats as there are lots especially around the souck (market). Having said that I'd definitely go there for a visit if your not been to one before.
Also you don't get hassleed by the locals much unlike other similar countries , there are a few people selling tat on the beach/ seafront but if you say no they go away. Same at the market if you haggle to reduce the price (which they expect) they can be a bit pushy but if you firmly walk away, they're fine. They are really friendly people overall.

My DS (aged 24) has been to Agadir a couple of time recently, and didn't have any jabs. However, he did get licked on the leg by a dog, on the site of an open scratch, so had to have a series of rabies jabs when he got home. Definitely worth staying away from animals, both stray and domestic.

Went last year for a week, age ranges from 9 to 82, didn't have any jabs.
