Hello I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for transfers from Paris charles de gaulle airport to a hotel near the Eiffel Tower.

I’ve looked into public transport but looks a little daunting?! Travelling alone with teenage daughter.

some advice online has been long wait for taxis?

any advice and average prices welcome.

we travel on a Sunday in August arrive around 7pm if it makes a difference.

thanks in advance!

Honestly I’d use RER /Metro. It will be quicker and a lot cheaper than a taxi.

Uber is easy & reliable in Paris & relatively cheap so I’d say that was your best bet. Using public transport to get to the airport is straightforward & there’s lots of YouTube videos that break down all the steps to the journey. But Uber for the win

The train is very easy from the airport to Gare de nord. Then you could use the metro.
I have used prestige taxis before from airport to disney so assume they go other places although train will be cheaper . They have a blue triangle logo on the top left on their website as there are other companies with similar name.

I'd also just get on the train and then walk/metro/tram.

Public transport in Paris is easy. You can upload the app and just buy tickets. Surely you want your teen to learn about public transport? Look up https://www.iledefrance-mobilites.fr/en/titres-et-tarifs/supports/smartphone

You can also get the Roissy bus into town. What is the hotel? I love route planning.

Depends on how much baggage you have TBH but if you are not too laden down RER/metro is pretty straightforward.

Definitely look on YouTube for guidance on how to get the train/metro

Taxis at CDG are regulated and fine, although the queue can spike when several long hauls land. If you want a sure thing with a meet and greet, Transfeero has worked for me because they watch the flight and wait in the arrivals hall. I think that is nicer when you are traveling with a teenager and luggage. Cost shows upfront so you can compare against the taxi flat rate before you book.

Just get on the Metro. It’s hardly daunting and it’s all part of travelling. Or get on a bus. It’s part of the experience otherwise what’s the point of travelling

Download the city mapper app and change the city to Paris, type in start and end and it will give you a step by step guide

Thanks for your advice. We’re back now and we were brave and took the train and metro and it was fine! For two country bumpkins we coped fine!
